| Anzac dominated the Queensland Labrador show scene during the 1990's and his progeny are continuing to this day. A 33 times Best In Show winner (including 3 times Best In Specialty Show)and more than 80 Best in Group awards plus a Royal Best in Show this valuable dog passed away far too early at only 9 years of age. He had amassed 1013 challenge points by 22 months of age (well before the introduction of the Grand Champion title) and achieved an impressive total of 3178 cc points - all that before the days where BOB points were combined. "Zac" holds the distinction of being Australia's first Grand Champion - achieving this milestone at his very first show after the Grand Champion title was introduced with yet another Best in Group. Fortunately we collected from him and this gives us the opportunity to include his superb breed type in our breeding programme for many years to come. |
